These students will now attend the State Tournament in April. Way to go South Park Cougars!
Congratulations to Mrs. Reding's Destination Imagination Team for taking first place at the South Regional Tournament this past Saturday. They also received the prestigious DaVinci Award for their creativity. A special thank you goes to the parent volunteers that helped get the students ready for competition.
Dear Parents & Guardians of South Park Students:
Pueblo City Schools has adopted a “No Bully” program. We have created a No Bully Committee here at South Park and we will be working diligently over the next several years to implement this program and provide a safe environment for your children.
As a part of this process, we are asking parents to be involved in some important decision making processes. We are having our first parent meeting on Friday, March 3rd, in our Media Center. The meeting will begin at 3:15 and will run for approximately 30 minutes.
We would love to see you there. As a follow-up to this meeting, a presenter from the program will be coming to South Park to inform parents about this program. This will take place on Friday, April 7th, from 3:15-4:15 p.m. in our South Park Media Center. We would like to see you at this meeting, as it is an important piece in the grant process.
If you have additional questions, please do not hesitate to call me.
Thank you for your support.
Lynne Brunjak, Principal
We are having a Book Fair beginning March 3rd through March 16th. Please stop in and visit the fair. Remember that all profit stays here at South Park. We will be open several evenings during the fair. Watch for posted times! You can visit our online Book Fair at http://www.scholastic.com/bf/southparkelementaryschool3
The after school Mileage Club is cancelled for the remainder of the year. Students will be dismissed at regular time on Wednesdays.
Reserve your copy of the yearbook for $15.00. Orders forms are available in the office and money is due by April 21, 2017.
